This book is the first of its kind to record the history of tennis in Ireland and has been a labour of love for Tom.  In his research he has unearthed many interesting and fascinating facts about the game.

What started out as a history of the North West has developed into a major work embracing the whole of Ireland and culminating in this magnificent chronicle of the game we love and play.  It contains club histories, information about club and national players, anecdotes about personalities and much, much more.

It is a book that will be invaluable in years to come as a major source for all curious to know and learn how the game originated and developed in Ireland and I heartily recommend it to everyone.
